Steps to updating.
1. Insert battery into scanner. Leave the scanners power off.
2. Connect the scanner to your PC using the USB update cable.
3. Download the software from the website listed above and 'unzip' the file.
4. Run the fle 'REGMSCOMM'. Thia must run on your computer only once. Then your computer will perform all future updating for your scanner.
5. Run the main file called 'uif_isp'.
6. Select the 'COM Port'. The correct selection will not produce an error, usually port 3.
7. Press the 'Open File' button and select the update file from the 'unzipped' files.
8. Click 'Update' then turn the scanners power on.
9. Updating will take a few moments and complete.
