CHOOSING A KIT:
SINGLE BEAM KIT
If your vehicle uses 2 pairs of bulbs, 1 for low beam & 1 for high beam, use this kit for your low beams. An additional kit may be purchased to convert your high beams as well.
HIGH & LOW BEAM, 2 BALLAST KIT
If your vehicle uses 1 pair of bulbs which function as low & high beams, you may choose this kit & not loose your high beam function. Each bulb requires 1 ballast & functions as the high & low beam. The bulb switches from low to high by adjusting its position in the light socket.
BiXenon HIGH & LOW BEAM, 4 BALLAST KIT
If your vehicle uses 1 pair of bulbs which function as low & high beams, choose this kit & retain your high beam function. These are 'Bi-Xenon' bulbs, meaning each bulb has 2 true xenon lamps. 2 ballasts are required for each bulb so a total of 4 ballasts come with a car kit. This is the ideal choice for high & low beam function and worth the extra cost due to using 4 ballasts & dual lamps in each bulb.

What are the advantages of XENON HID technology over traditional halogen bulbs?
More light output
A 35-Watt XENON HID lamp produces up to 3x the lumens at the light source when compared to a 55-Watt halogen bulb.
Whiter light
While the halogen light appears yellowish, the XENON HID lighting system produces a light that is closer to that of natural sunlight.
Increased Visibility
In most nighttime driving/bad weather situations, this combination of a whiter color and a greater light output allows for a safer and more illuminated drive.
Reduced power consumption
XENON HID lamp systems draw significantly less power from your vehicles electrical system.
Greater product life
XENON HID lamp systems are designed to outlast your vehicle. On average these bulbs will last 3-5 times longer than a traditional halogen bulb.
Distinctiveness
Your vehicle will not only have the latest in automotive lighting technologies, but will also have that unique eye-catching appeal. Currently, only high-end vehicles offer this XENON HID lighting system.

What is the difference between genuine XENON HID lights and Xenon gas-filled bulbs?
High Intensity Discharge (HID) is a type of lighting technology that replaces the filament of the light bulb with Xenon gas. The gas is ignited to produce an arc of light, when high voltage is applied. The amount of light output is three times that of a standard halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a higher light temperature (closer to natural sunlight) that gives it its distinct color and appearance.
Other companies produce halogen bulbs that are gas-filled. They still have a filament as they are halogen technology, but the gas gives the bulb a bluer color when lit. Xenon-filled halogen bulbs produce little or no more light output then standard halogen bulbs of the same wattage.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY COMPANIES THAT OFFER HID LOOK BULBS! They are not a true XENON HID light system.
How long will these bulbs last?
HID XENON lamps are designed to last for the life of your vehicle. They will run for approx 3000 hours.
Could I not just purchase a stronger watt halogen bulb to get a brighter light?
XENON HID lamps are 35 watts while traditional halogen bulbs are 55 watts. Even though XENON HID lamps draw less current, they produce 3 times the light output as the higher wattage halogen bulbs. Increasing the wattage will make the bulb a little brighter but still much dimmer that the XENON HID lamps. Also, AMPS = (BULB WATTS X 2) / BATTERY VOLTAGE OUTPUT (12). So as you increase the wattage on your bulb you increase the current draw on your entire electrical system. This is critical in motorcycle applications.
Why can I not just replace the halogen bulb in my vehicle with XENON HID lamps with out having to purchase the entire kit?
Motorcycles and automobiles currently use a 12 Volt electrical system for their headlamps. XENON HID lighting systems require over 20,000 volts to ignite the bulbs. Once lit, they only require 12 volts to keep running. Our kits include a power pack that is necessary for the lamps to turn on. The input of the power pack is 12 volts. It is an integral part of the system.
What does the XENON HID light system kit include?

Could I Install the kit myself?
For anyone who is mechanically inclined, this installation is considered "do-it-yourself". While a typical installation takes approximately an hour, it can vary depending on application (conversion or auxiliary). Our kits are ready to install right-out-of-the-box and come complete with everything that you will need. We also provide you a full set of easy-to-read, step-by-step instructions to guide you.

Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the XENON HID kit has been installed?
With the growing popularity of leasing vehicles, a big concern is whether or not you can bring the vehicle back to its original factory condition. Our kits install with little or no modifications to your vehicle. If need be, the entire kit can be removed and the original halogen bulbs replaced. This kit can be re-installed into another vehicle that uses the same bulb size.

Will I lose the ability to use the High beams?
For vehicles using a single H4, 9004, and 9007 bulb for both low and high beam , you will lose your high beam functionality. You may keep high beam functionality by purchasing one of our 'Dual Beam' or 'BiXenon' kits.

Will DRL (daytime running lights) or Auto Switch On effect the HID kit?
For vehicles with DRL that use the same bulb for both DRL and low beam you will need to deactivate your DRL. DRL operate on reduced wattage or fluctuating current levels. This will cause the HID system to flicker and burn out prematurely. Please ensure that your OEM headlight harness is providing a constant 12V to ensure that no damage will be caused to the HID system

Are these XENON HID light systems street legal?
Every jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations governing the use of automotive lighting. XENON HID lighting systems that are supplied with the vehicles from the factory are DOT approved.
NO XENON HID conversion kit available from any source is DOT approved if installed outside of the factory. Moreover, in the U.S, this is not street legal for use on public roads. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition and off-road use and will only sell the kit to be used for these purposes. We are not responsible for buyers who violate the terms of sale while in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use.
